The Art of Aardman Exhibition Lands at PAFF, Pordenone
Shaun the Sheep & Friends: The Art of Aardman has arrived at PAFF, the International Museum of Comic Art in Pordenone, Italy!
Running from 12th May until 24th September, the touring exhibition brings together 30 original film sets, sculptures, studies, drawings, stage photographs, videos… and even an Academy Award® ('Oscar') for fans to get close to!
The exhibition follows the story of Aardman from its beginning when Aardman's founders, Peter Lord and David Sproxton, first started their experiments with clay, then takes visitors on a journey that spans over 40 years of extraordinary creativity.
For the very first time, fans can enjoy some new additions to the exhibition, including original Robin Robin illustrations and puppets, as well as exhibits from Aardman's latest releases, the CGI series Lloyd of the Flies, and stop motion series The Very Small Creatures.
Beautiful sets and props from the worlds of Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run and The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists also feature, plus you'll even get to take a look at Nick Park's original student sketchbook.
With over 400 drawings, storyboards and paintings to enjoy, alongside classic film moments to watch too, The Art of Aardman is a must-visit experience for any Aardman fan.
