Shaun the Sheep Supports Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day!
As Save the Children's newly appointed Head of Wool, Shaun is on a mission to make this year's Christmas Jumper Day the best ever, and stars in a short animation - 'The Knit Before Christmas' - to get people wearing their festive jumpers and raising money for the charity this winter!
Ahead of the event on 12th December, today saw the release of the film which shows the Mossy Bottom Flock getting their jumpers knitted as they create some cosy fun on the farm, with the decorations and fairy lights going up in preparation for the festive season.
There's even a special delivery from Save the Children HQ – a ‘Head of Wool’ badge for Shaun to wear so he can show off his new job title! Watch the full film here:
Last week Save the Children Ambassador and actress Ashley Jensen hosted an extra special premiere for the film at Launde Primary School in Leicester, the top fundraising school Christmas Jumper Day last year.
So why not join Shaun and don your most sparkly, colourful festive knit on 12th December, and help to raise money for the important work that Save the Children does across the world - find out how to get involved on the Save the Children website, where you'll also find a special colouring sheet and fundraising certificate.
